What ages do you work with?

We work with children and adolescents from birth through 18 years of age. Our early intervention program supports infants from birth — including premature babies at our Apollo Cradle centre — through age 6, while our teen counselling services support adolescents up to 18.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes. We offer secure video consultations for initial consultations, parent training, teen counselling, and follow-up sessions. We also offer full remote assessments for NRI families across the US, UK, Nepal, Singapore, Dubai, Qatar, and other English-speaking countries, as well as for families in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and across India. Do you work with schools directly?

How long does therapy typically last?

It varies. Some children benefit from a short-term intervention of 3–6 months, while others with ongoing needs may continue for a year or more. We review progress every 8–12 weeks and adjust the plan collaboratively with you.

What is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?

A psychologist (like Dr. Gurbani Kohli) focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and therapy — using talk therapy and behavioural interventions. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. We collaborate with psychiatrists and paediatricians when medication is part of the picture.

Will my child's information be kept confidential?

Yes. All sessions and records are strictly confidential, in line with professional ethics and Indian mental health law. We share information with schools or other professionals only with your written consent.
